WHAT IS IT?

The Summit is a leadership team for 4th-5th grade students at GCF, led by Pastor Josh. While a part of this team, students will:

  • Grow in their understanding of fundamentals of faith and how to live out God's purpose for their lives

  • Discover their talents and gifts and how to use them to serve the church, their family and community.

WHAT DO WE DO?

We want kids to see the importance of growing in how they read, trust, and obey the Bible. We will do this through reading it together, completing assignments, and discussing how to be "doers" of the Word.

We want kids to see how to use their God-given gifts and talents to serve their families, church, and community. We will do this through service projects and finding ways to serve at church on a weekly basis.

A couple of times a year, we want kids to celebrate the progress they've made in the strength of their faith and how they live it out. We will do this by hosting special events just for them. Party Time!

Read more about what we are specifically doing in our Spring 2022 plan.

WHEN IS IT?

The Summit will meet:

  • On Sunday mornings at 9:15 am in the Kids Worship Center.

  • From the first Sunday of May (5/1) to the last Sunday of June (6/26)
